rise of pegasus

finished!!!
well almost just needs a bit more neatening up and i'm done

this is my final piece for my exam piece for my mock gcse which i got a "B" for but we only had 5 hours this time whereas you get 10 hours for the real gcse. i got an A for the overall grade for mock gcse art.

size a3
acrylic paints, colour pencil and all done freehand with references, will add links to references tomorrow.
time... about 15 hours probably... long

based on the theme classical art and greek art. based on the story of bellerophon (a mortal) and pegasus. after defeating the chimera the flew up the ollympus where the greek gods reside. zeus would not allow mortals in so sent a cadfly down to sting bellerophon, is missed and as pegasus reared, bellerophon fell back down to the mortal world.... well i think that's how it goes...
